Your Family-Run Funeral Directors
S.C. & B.S. Cocks is a long-established and experienced Gloucestershire-based Funeral Directors. Founded back in 1960 in Churchdown village, we are a family-run business with compassion and kindness at its heart. In 1966, we purchased the funeral director’s firm “Wilkes Funeral Services of Hucclecote” in Gloucestershire. Two years later, due to the redesign of the centre of Hucclecote by the local council, the original building was demolished, and new premises opened in 1970, which is still the same place we call home today!
The company is run by Graham Cocks, grandson of the founder of S.C & B.S Cocks. Having worked in the funeral director’s business for over 40 years, Graham has all the knowledge and experience needed to make this difficult process as easy as possible for our customers. As a family run business, we can provide that much needed personal touch to make arrangements that suit your loved ones.
Kind Words From Our Customers ...
Thank you Karen for all your help over the past few days. It has been a very difficult time. Thank you for advising and guiding me along the way, it has been such a help. Please can you also pass on my thanks to Jacky for staying on and doing a little service for us, it meant so much to me and my family. It’s not the send off I wanted for Doug, but it’s the horrible time we are all going through. I hope you can understand my drawing of the headstone.

Dear Sirs, we would like to thank everyone for the excellent service we received for Pete’s funeral. Under the current circumstances, everything went off very well. It was nice that we were able to plan Pete’s favourite music by his favourite group Queen. So once again, thank you.
Thank you for such excellent service, for organising my Dad’s funeral and many grateful thanks for all your patience during such a difficult time. With best wishes,
Dear Jane, can you please pass on my thanks to your team for looking after my Dad during his stay with you. Please thank Graham and his team for looking after us so well on the day of Dai’s funeral. It was a wonderful tribute to a wonderful man. I will be in touch about collecting the ashes in the near future. Thanks to you all.
